I’m thankful for a lot of things this year.
I’m thankful to have married the most incredible woman in the world. I’m thankful to have two amazing step-daughters. I’m thankful to have an insanely cool son and a fantastic daughter. I’m thankful to have found a new daughter and to have her let all of us be a small part of her life.
I’m thankful to have a great father. I’m thankful that he has a great fiance and has found true happiness for the first time in a very long time. It’s much deserved.
I’m thankful to have a new extended family. They are all great people and I really do appreciate being accepted as part of their family.
I look back and am thankful to have spent 35+ Thanksgivings with my mother before she passed on. It’s not about what you’ve lost, but what you gained during the time you spent that counts the most.
I’m thankful for finding a reason to write again…regardless of how simple it may have been to write. It’s been awhile since I put fingers to the keyboard, so it’s good to be able to do it again.
I’m hoping that all of my fellow Canucks have had a great Thanksgiving weekend. My best to each and every one of you.
