I’m just a thirty-something single dad who is trying to find his place in the world…no more, no less.
Of course, I’m a thirty-something single dad who has found the love of his life…and that love of his life happens to live 3 hours away and we’re both attempting to enjoy our pure happiness through a long-distance relationship. Still…two happy single parents, four happy children (none together, though), two cities, and a world of love and hope and fun; it makes for an interesting ride.
This blog contains the random thoughts from a single dad. There’s no specific “format” that I follow…it could really be anything. And that’s what makes it so much fun to write.

just wanted to say your presence on iHeart and your comments on my personal blog are so appreciated. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to have the support of single dads like you along with single mommas.

p.s. Bald is back in a big way. I’ve always loved guys with no hair. (My pops for starters). Keep rockn’ it….and don’t be a stranger!

Hi Canadian Bald Guy. I’m a Canadian bald guy too 8=) I’m not a single parent though. It must be difficult at times but I know that being a parent is definitely worth it. My wife and I have 2 (ages 10 and 4) and we love it.

Well…the deal with me is that I’m not losing my hair. I actually shave my head by choice because I like how it looks better.

This is a nice blog. I’ve just started blogging and I’m not sure what I want to do with it, but certainly your blog is a good example of just sharing thoughts and takes on things.
Bald in Canada. I remember the first I came back from the high country and had a sunburn on the top of my head. I thought I had hair up there. Last week on a motorcycle trip with my oldest son, 42, I saw him walking away from me and there was that thin round patch on his crown. My sons tease me and I tease them back, but it looks like they’re following me.
40 ain’t old.
Justice Brandeis and Justice Holmes (I’m not sure of the names, but old guys) were walking down the street together when a very beautiful young woman came walking their direction. After she passed Brandeis said to Holmes, “Ah to be 70 again.”
