I currently don’t have a camera. Ever since breaking Sunshine’s camera in Puerto Rico back in March while on vacation, I gave her my camera as a (really cheap & not nearly as nice) substitute. At the moment, I’ve got nothing to replace it with.
Other than my phone.
I’ve got a Blackberry Pearl from 1993 or something. It’s not great but it gets the job done (that’s what she said). Anyhoo…I’ve been taking a few pics here and there but felt that the quality wasn’t good enough to justify using them for a blog post.
In addition, I had a couple of pictures sent to me by a co-worker from my business trip to Orlando last November that didn’t really justify their own blog post, nor did the couple of photos I took from me curling (yes…curling) at a work function last week.
But I might as well use ‘em…right?
So this is a pic my co-worker took of me on my last day in Orlando. I wrote waaaay too many blog posts about that trip so I won't bore you with the details now, but let's just say I rather enjoyed myself and my t-shirt shows where I was staying.
While at the WagJagHalifax party this past Saturday, they showcased some breakdancers. At this point I admitted to Sunshine that not only did I use to breakdance "back in tha day", but I also ended up coming in 3rd or 4th at a competition held at the local mall. I may or may not have dance to Herbie Hancock's "Rockit".
Ankle Biter has been going to pre-kindergarten classes (I can't believe he's going to school in September!) and I've been very fortunate to have been able to attend 3 of the 6 sessions with him. Lemme tell ya...there is little else that's as cool as watching your child LEARN. Anyway...he was learning balance with these bean bags. I was quite impressed with his mad skillz.
Sunshine had a craving for Dairy Queen last Sunday, and who am I to say "no"? Of course, I couldn't just have a regular sundae myself...so I asked the guy for a chocolate sundae with a little extra syrup on it. THIS is what I got in return. I paid for it later, but wow...was this ever good.
This is what a box score looks like in curling. What this says it that the Yellow Team (i.e. MY team) won this game 3-1 in three ends of play.
And of course you know I couldn't just "claim" to have won without actually having proof, right? Apparently this will be an annual event and we were the first team to win. Happy? YOU BETCHA! (Gotta brag at something, right?)

This has gotta be the first time in well over two decades that I had some Fun Dip. Guilty pleasure? You bet! Will it happen again any time soon? Probably not...but it tastes the same as I remember it as a kid.

On the way through to Sunshine's a couple of weekends ago, Ankle Biter and I stopped in Oxford, Nova Scotia for a quick pit stop. There is a giant blueberry there (Oxford is the "world blueberry capital" or something like that) and I can't just leave a photo opportunity like that NOT taken!
It was open, but it was cold and windy and not really very sunny. So there will definitely be Public Gardens pictures in the coming weeks.
I guess that’s probably it. I feel better now…I’ve cleaned-out and purged any random photos I had lying around that I didn’t use in the blog previously.
