It rained on Day One of my vacation so Ankle Biter and I just hung-out inside and there’s not really any story to tell.
But MAN…are there stories going on elsewhere.
Without naming names (to protect the guilty), there are currently some things going on with some stupid people and I just want to get a few things off of my chest and say a few words to them…
A friend of mine just found out over the weekend that they were being cheated on. I just HATE hearing things like that. What’s worse is that I met “the cheater” and never in a million years would have seen that coming. The person that was cheated on is one HELL of a catch: smart, good looking, wealthy, awesome personality…just a person that you’d think would be the one doing the cheating to begin with, y’know? Man…what a stupid move. STUPID move.
If you have a “relationship”, you would think that it would be based in some form of reality. Example? Well…how about “dating” somebody you’ve never met who not only lives in another country, but on another continent? And then you “date” this person for months and months without ever getting even a sense that you’d ever meet them in person. They get YOU to buy a webcam but they won’t get one. Yet, you NEVER think there is anything odd about this situation. When it all falls apart and you find out the thing has been a sham from the beginning, should you not be kicking yourself for having allowed this to happen to you for the SECOND F*CKING TIME???
At some point, you really need to look at yourself in the mirror. Seriously take a long hard look and maybe…just maybe…you’ll realize that it’s not all them. Maybe…just maybe…some changes need to take place in your own life in order for you to truly be happy. Maybe…just maybe…you won’t be blaming everybody else for your unhappiness.
Why do you date over and over and over and then brag about your sexual conquests, only then to complain about your lack of intimacy and real relationships? How about you stop thinking with your libido and start truly thinking about what’s important in your life and what can really make you happy long-term?
YOU’RE the one following some naked tubthumping creepy bastard like he’s David Coresh and SHE’S the one in need of psychiatric care?? You and every single member of the cult that you’re in need to look in the mirror and recognize who is in SERIOUS need of a psychiatrist…because honey, it ain’t who you think it is.
Bah…I just want to shake my head sometimes. Thank god I’m on vacation.
