I had an epiphany of sorts last night as I was making the drive from my house to Sunshine’s. For almost four years I’ve been making the 2 1/2 hour drive from my city to hers. For almost four years, I always “visited” her and then went back home.
Last night, for the first time, I felt as though I was COMING HOME.
The city…the kids…the home-to-be at the end of the month…it’s all finally coming together and it’s a very exciting time. It was a powerful feeling, too. A sense of calm…a sense of “this is the right thing to do”.
It just felt right.
