I’m not gonna lie…I’m scared to death of not being able to find a great job, especially where the one I’ve got now is so good. But I guess I need to be patient and thorough and something will come along. Where I’m not unemployed and I’m not desperate, I have the luxury of searching around for something.

Starting from scratch on resume etc, is a pain, and time-consuming but it’s a great way to get it right! I am a good editor (do it all day long!) if you need a second set of eyes on anything, just thought I’d offer :)

As a professional who left the workplace (in IT no less) to be a stay at home mom, I was in the same boat. What sucked even worse was that my IT skills were way outdated and the only jobs available required travel (difficult if not impossible when my ex-husband isn’t available to care for them due to his own business travel).

I’m still searching for that perfect job. I’m still wondering what I want to be when I grow up. Thank you for offering a different perspective… that it’s something I could really be excited about.
