This past weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada. Now, because I work for an American company I will end up getting a long weekend in November (which I don’t mind at all!) and the Canadian version doesn’t really have the same impact for me because I’m working today as usual.
However, this was my first Thanksgiving without mom around…and it could have been very difficult to handle. Instead, I had a fun-filled jam-packed weekend with Sunshine and our blended family (i.e. her two awesome girls and my son).
I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am for having them all in my life.
My mom would be really happy for me.
