Fun Music Fridays

I am REALLY busy packing as I’m moving out of my home this weekend, so I just don’t have enough time to write a proper blog.  So I was thinking that I haven’t done a “Fun Music Friday” in quite awhile so why not?

This performance from the Black Eyed Peas on the UK version of the X-Factor (one of my new favorite shows) last weekend really got me turned on to the song.  Now?  Now this song is blasting through my car on a daily basis.  It’s just fun and original and the Black Eyed Peas never fail to have at least one great song on every album.  This song is a lot of fun.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Bryan Adams, and while he’s been a little more “adult contemporary” than “rock” over the past few years, he still releases music that’s catchy and fun.  This song is his latest single from the stripped-down live album “Bare Bones” and it’s definitely one of those sing-along songs where you can learn the lyrics very quickly.

I’ll admit that I wasn’t the biggest fan of this song when it first came out, but then I gave it a couple of listens to see what the big deal was.  WOW…this is one of the catchiest rock/pop songs I’ve heard in quite some time.

And finally this is just a live performance of a classic Rainbow song that I love…only it’s Brian Johnson from AC/DC joining the band he was in BEFORE he was in AC/DC, Geordie, for a reunion concert in 2001.  Got all that? Good.

That’s it!  I’m off packing and moving.  It’ll be a busy weekend and then, in addition, I’m moving into my new house next weekend.  Whew!!

Anyway…have a great weekend everybody!!
