Yeah...I'm one lucky dude.
So I’m dating this hot chick, right? And here’s the thing…she wasn’t as hot two or three years ago as she is now.
No…don’t get all upset at me, that’s not an insult. Sunshine knows just how absolutely head-over-heels in love I am with her. And she also acknowledges that, for whatever reason, she’s looking younger and more vibrant now than she was a couple of years ago.
So back to this hot chick of mine; she’s a real looker…someone who’d definitely grab my attention even if I wasn’t dating her and I saw her walking down the street. She told me last week that she was thinking about getting her nose re-pierced…
RE-pierced?
Well…I’ve got zero issues with piercings or tattoos or things of that nature. To be completely honest, I think the right piercing and/or tattoo can make a person look more attractive and also a bit younger. And it’s not like she wanted to get a bone shoved in her nose or anything…so I was all for it.
Shubie Park: 03-21-10
After a walk on a beautiful spring morning through beautiful Shubie Park (pics on my Flickr page), we made our way to downtown Halifax to pay some dude money so he could shove a sharp, metal object through my love’s nostril.
Sounds hot, yes??
So we went into Kara’s Urban Day Spa and I immediately felt out of place. First, I’m not really a “spa” kind of guy. Second, I’m bald…what in the heck am I gonna do, highlight my back hair?
Thankfully, they let me into the room where “professional piercer” Eddy Oicle was ready to work his magic. He even let me take some pictures…which was awesome except for the fact that when he spun her chair around to do the actual piercing, I was facing the outside window which resulted in some of the better pictures NOT turning out.
But some did…

I love this woman. To me, this makes her look even hotter than she did before…and I thought she already looked pretty freakin’ hot.

I had my nose pierced shortly after my little one was born. The problem was that I kept knocking the stud OUT of my nose and would have to drive back to the tattoo parlor to get it reinserted. I couldn’t do it on my own for some reason. Eventually it was too much of a pain in the ass nose to keep driving there with a newborn and a toddler. So, I gave up and got a tattoo instead. We’ll have to blog our tatts one day!!
Rascal wants a tattoo also. We’re in design mode.

heh. I kind of like “ass nose”. lol
“Eddie” put a nose screw in, like he did the first time. There’s no way this baby is coming out without a LOT of work. After it heals, I’ll take it out and just put in a little stud. If you get one with a ball on the end, they’re actually pretty hard to get out. I got tired of ripping mine out of my head for job interviews and just let it finally heal over. I’m going to be in a job now for at least 6 months where a nose ring will be no problem…and besides, I think that nose studs are a lot more mainstream than they once were…

Sunshine looks great. Personally I cant see the appeal in having my own nose pierced (I’ll just stick with my ears) nor do I have any tats. However I do find them hot on some other people.

i agree for the record. that sunshine looks YEARS younger now and has a glow about her than she didnt have 4 or so years ago. i have told her.
